Teacher guide: the history of graded submissions. Old, graded exam submissions are moved to the archive with all their data – student answers, grades, comments and AI feedback are kept safe.

1 What the Archive is
Archives (History) keeps graded exam submissions after they have been moved out of the active grading view. Archiving keeps the grading view tidy but keeps the submissions with all their data for later review.
Archives→Exam→Student's submission→Show details
An archived submission keeps the student's answers, the grade, the teacher's comments, the correct solutions and the AI feedback. Submissions are archived automatically after a period you choose (section 5), or you can archive them immediately with a button (section 4).
2 Archive view
The top bar has the title and the action buttons. The content is grouped by exam: each card is one exam, with the students' archived submissions below it.
The archive view: submissions grouped by exam. You can select rows with the checkboxes; “Delete Selected” appears when something is selected.
Exam card – the name of the exam and the students' submissions below it. The card's Select all checkbox selects all rows of the exam.
Submission row – student number and name, grade and dates (Graded, Archived).
Show details – opens the details of the submission (section 3).
If the archive is empty, you see “No archived submissions yet.” In privacy mode, names are replaced with pseudonyms and numbers are masked.
3 Submission details
Show details opens the task-by-task details of the submission (and turns into a Hide details button). For each task you see the points, the student's answer, any comments, the correct solution and the AI feedback.
An opened submission: points per task, the student's answer, comments, the correct solution and the AI feedback.
Points – points awarded for the task / maximum.
Student answer – the submitted answer as it is.
Inline comments – the passages the teacher marked in the answer, with their comments.
Correct answer – the model solution of the task.
AI Feedback – the feedback from AI grading, if it was used.
The details are only loaded when you open them (they are heavy), so “Show details” may load for a moment before the content appears.
4 Archive now and delete
Archive now
The Archive now button starts archiving immediately without waiting for the automatic schedule. Graded submissions are moved to the archive, and the app tells you how many submissions were archived (“Archiving completed”).
Delete Selected
Select submissions with the row checkboxes (or with the exam's Select all checkbox). When something is selected, a red Delete Selected button appears.
You confirm the deletion separately (“Are you sure?”).
Once confirmed, the selected archived submissions and their related data are deleted permanently.
Warning: Deleting from the archive is permanent. A deleted submission and its data cannot be restored.
5 Archive settings
Settings in the top bar (or Settings → Archive settings in the main menu) opens the Submission archive settings window, where you set how long after grading submissions are archived automatically.
Archive settings: the interval (a number) and the unit (days / weeks / months). The default is 3 months.
Interval – a number and a unit: days, weeks or months. For example, “3 months” archives a submission three months after it was graded.
Save settings – applies the interval (“Archive settings saved.”).
Automatic archiving applies to graded submissions. This way recent submissions that are still being graded or have just been graded stay in the active view, and older ones are moved to the archive for safekeeping.
